Recognisable through sculpted uppers and a visible full-length air sole unit, these metallic gold Nike Air Max 97 QS Shoes are built using synthetic leather and textile overlays with a distinctive curved design that flows all the way around the shoe. Not straying too far from the original iconic design first seen in 1997, this model has been split into black and gold sections with varsity red accents and a white outsole. The cushioned tongue provides a base for a concealed lacing system which includes an additional secure and stylised panel section with red swoosh branding, this is repeated on both sides with 3D emblems. A custom heel tab has been added which complements the rest of the design and the layered outsole includes a visible air-sole unit that provides a high level of responsive cushioning. Completed with a waffle tread design that follows the same colour scheme.
Added to this edition, an extra feature of most Nike Air Max 97 styles includes reflective panelling visible in low lighting, which adds a distinctive and stand-out finish.
