Seen here in a metallic silver colourway, this new addition to the Nike Air Max 97 Shoe range features split colour uppers filled in metallic silver and black, plus notes of varsity red across branded Swoosh ticks. Built from a mix of synthetic leather and textile, smooth curved lines flow all the way around creating a ripple-style effect that includes reflective sections above a full-length air sole unit. The tongue has been constructed with a heavily cushioned finish, a concealed lacing system and an oval Swoosh emblem on top, further support can be found around the inner border of the ankle. A branded heel tab matches the surrounding colour palette and a small embossed tick sits below, in addition to this, 3D swoosh ticks have been coloured in varsity red and added on both outer panels.

First inspired by mountain bikes and ripples from rain drops in puddles, the Nike Air Max 97 Shoe was designed by Christian Tresser in 1997. An innovative and never before seen aesthetic brought with it revolutionary details such as a concealed lacing system and a full-length air unit. This new edition pays homage to the original silhouette with modern improvements and a fresh colourway.
