Drawing inspiration from its ‘87 predecessor, the Nike Air Max SC is styled with lightweight leather and mesh uppers for increased durability and comfort. Featuring a cushioned foam insole with Max Air inserts, a flex groove rubber outsole and an over-extended forefoot tread for increased grip, this grey and black Air Max SC also features flat laces that secure the padded tongue in place. White leather Swooshes detail each overlaid midfoot, whilst printed insoles, printed ‘Nike Air’ heel logos and embroidered tongue labels finish the design.

A modernised tribute to Tinker Hatfield’s original Nike Air Max 1, the Nike Air Max SC is a technical revision that remains loyal to the Air Max’s ‘window to the sole’ nickname. Featuring a visible Air unit and reinforced upper overlays for a classic look ultimately inspired by the 1987 Centre Georges Pompidou Air Max 1.
